Dear Friends... Today is Tuesday and colorchallenge for the day is Orange. As I couldn't get any orange flowers in my garden, I decided to paint on this empty glass bottle, to convert it into a brush stand.
Generally when I do bottle painting, I use P.O.P.(plaster of paris powder) mixed with fevicol (adhesive),which gives a 3-D effect on the bottle. But today I just started with acrylic medium. After 24 hours, if we give one coat of Synthetic Clear Varnish, then the color becomes completely waterproof.
These are the step by step pics, to show you how I did this brush stand.
This is the other side of the bottle

Wonderful job my friend!
Hi... Actually our home is a small Art - Gallery, loaded with lots of paintings on walls, everywhere these different types of glass bottles, some painted clay pots. Sometimes my son says... it's old fashioned, with all this kind of stuff... Haha :) :) :)
Hahaha! You got an awesome son really sister, i am a great fan of him. I hope to visit India soon and hopefully meet up with you people. It will be a great pleasure.
Yes please do come, welcome. I too want to see your place... ,at least once in my life...
You have to come and bring @firepower together! Infact some weeks back i message him about Mauritius and he said maybe one day. It was mainly for promoting Steemit here.
Can you show us some of your previous bottle painting to know about how it looks (3-D effect) as you said "I use P.O.P.(plaster of paris powder) mixed with fevicol (adhesive),which gives a 3-D effect on the bottle."
It looks great
Hi @codingdefined, yes I will write a separate blog for that, as I have lot of bottles, all very creative.(with step by step photos, about how to make it.)
There are 100 things in mind, to write my posts... Don't know which one to write first and which one later.... But surely I will come with all my artwork one by one... Thank you so much for reading my blog, :)
Sure, I am following your blog. Will wait for all your future posts.
wow, this is lovely! great work ma'am...
Thank you, Sir..
Oh friend you are genius. You are a efficient mother of an most efficient son. Happy steeming.
Thank you so much :)
My elder sister uses to do this stuff with P.O.P and play with paints. And I remember she never used P.O.P on the glass. I wonder if P.O.P sticks to glass, I guess you will need some powerful adhesive.
This is so beautiful!! I love how the bottle gives a "happy & fresh" vibe :)
