Green chilis 'sili' are commonly known here in the Philippines especially that most Filipinos cannot eat with out 'sawsawan'. Chili gives that spicy thing that boost the appetite of many.
Since most of my family members loves to have chili as part of their daily meals, my mother who loves gardening decided to grow chilis in our backyard. Since then, chili has always been accessible to the family (and even to our neighbors.hehe) - just a few steps outside the door and you'll have it!
