These bright butterflies have been fluttering around my backyard for several days. Anyone know what kind they are? They look like monarchs from afar, but up close the markings and coloring appear different.

Nice shots,I have a hard time getting butterflies to sit still for me!
I think they are called Viceroy butterflies look exactly like monarchs just slight differences.
