ColorChallenge: MondayRed - Telephone Booth & Post Box

When thinking about red symbols, the red telephone booth comes to my mind. Alongside, is the red post box. When they were introduced, the red color was chosen so they could be easily identified. On a psychological level, the red color makes people act quicker.
While the red post box and red telephone booth can be found in several countries, for me they are a symbol for the British. These pictures were taken in York, England.
