The Guaramacal National Park, also called General Cruz Carrillo, is located near Boconó, in the Trujllo State, its fauna includes mammals such as the matacán or candelillo deer, and the bear frontino, a species threatened with extinction. Felines such as the jaguar, the puma and the cunaguaro.y the vegetation a forest of almost perennial foliage. As you ascend and up to 2,500 meters above sea level, there is a lush forest with trees that exceed 15 meters in height, with species such as the yagrumo always dressed with epiphytes, ferns and orchids. Above 2,500 meters above sea level, the Moorish vegetation and the typical frailejón predominate,Rivers and lagoons predominate, worthy of a field day
