The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 750 kilometers.
It connects Shenandoah National Park in Virginia with Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. And is a beautiful drive with Incredible views. I did not remember the Laurel and Hardy clip. Ha! The song was familiar when I heard it, though. Actually, this was probably in North Carolina.
The layers are so beautifully captured. Nice.
Thanks so much!

I'll give that a vote. That is lovely and captured with a great deal of skill. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so very much! Driving through the Blue Ridge Mts is one of my favorite things!
So is that shot taken in Virginia? (I apologise but us Brits mostly know about the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Laurel and Hardy song ;)

I love the layering of the Blue Ridge! This is absolutely stunning! Now, you are getting into my (almost) neighborhood! Superb! Upgoating!
You do have a lovely neighborhood!
The only thing more beautiful that the lush shades of blue-green are the Fall foliage colours. Great snap!
I was there one time in the fall, but it was way back when I was still shooting with film! It was beautifull.
Awesome! You caught the mood. I love the Blue Ridge Mountains! Enjoy your penny. 😀
