This is my entry for today's MondayRed daily color challenge hosted by @kalemandra.
I received two small 6" hibiscus plants for Mother's Day about 7-8 years ago. This is what they look like today. Every morning as I look out onto my deck I am blessed with over a dozen new blooms on each of the huge hibiscus plants that are now over 5 feet tall!

Wow! I prune mine back quite severely each fall before I bring it in for the winter, otherwise it wouldn't fit in the house!
I need to start doing that! Most years they lose about a third of their leaves during the winter months though they still bloom. This year I thought I'd lost them till I Googled and learned about adding an Epsom salt and water solution that fortunately revived them. All the leaves had turned yellow and were falling off. Ever have that happen? @melinda010100
