Thursday Color Challenge
Happy Thursday! My contribution to the #colorchallenge by @Kalemandra for Thursday's color green.
This is the man-made gemstone called Green Goldstone. It is actually a type of glass created from quartz sand otherwise known as silica. Copper and Chromium are added to create the sparkle.
Thank you for viewing my post, your time is appreciated.

Very nice green pic
Thank you kindly!
I looked some info about this beautiful stone:
Green Goldstone is associated with growth and abundance.
It is a man made gemstone that has been around since the European Rennaissance.
Early monks working at a glass factory near Venice, Italy were practicing alchemy when molten copper accidentally tipped into a molten glass container.
This crystallized into thousands of tiny crystals and formed a melt with golden light sparkles. This is how the first goldstone came about. Though it is not technically a gemstone, it is often referred to as one.
It is an energy stone.
Yes isn't it fascinating! I just really like the magic of its beauty.
Superb entry!! I love it ;)
Thank you Helena!
