I grew this bee balm a couple of years ago in hopes to attract humming birds which it has not but it attracts lots of bees hence the name but I am just as happy with that because they are so important. I was told it was an annual but it is actually a perennial and come back bigger each year. It is not my favorite of all flowers but it serves and imported purpose so I will be happy to see it come back every year.

This is a little sweat bee on it, but gets all different kinds of bees on it.
