The night brings out your creative side (w/photography)

“I’ve always loved the night, when everyone else is asleep and the world is all mine. It’s quiet and dark—the perfect time for creativity.”

~ Jonathan Harnisch, Porcelain Utopia

Last evening, I was able to capture some photography using my Canon 80D camera, using a 75 - 300 mm lens.

The night lends itself to amazing photography. If you read previous posts I've made, you know that lighting is an essential part of photography. However, the absence of light, only derived from a flash on your camera can make the spotlighting of a particular image that much more pronounced.

In the photo above, you see a moth. Moth's are predominately nocturnal insects, meaning they are active at night time. In this macro photo, you can see a moth resting on a leaf. They are often attracted to light, so it was surprising that it didn't move much while my flash was on.

This photo above is of vines from a tree. These same vines would not be that visually pleasing during the daytime, with the brightness of the sun and fellow plants pointing out the vines drab color. However, at nighttime, there is a whole new level to it's beauty. Intricate, intertwining parts, wrapped up tight like a birthday present. Absolutely stunning.

The last set of photos is of the moon. That big ball in the sky. It effects our tides. We see it in multiple variations. Full Moon, Crescent Moon, or in this instance, a Half Moon. All versions absolutely stunning and lends itself to the question, what else is out there, past that celestial object? Though we know there are other planets out there, the Moon is the closest object that we can get a great view of. And boy can it amaze even the slightest curiosities.

Even though day time is obviously the optimal time to get crisp, pristine photos, the night can also lend itself to some beautiful long distance and macro photography. This is an absolutely beautiful planet. We just need to get out there, take a look around and enjoy what we can...while we can.

I hope you enjoyed these photos.

Thank you @ericp1! I greatly appreciate it. As the Disney character Aladdin states, it truly is "A whole new world" out there. What you see alive and thriving during the day is absent at night. There is a whole new set of life that comes out to play at night time. And they are just as beautiful to see. I appreciate the comment.

Please convey this message to others. SMARTSTEEM has some technical problem. It many times does not vote and does not return your money. But the worst part of the story is that if you ask for return of your money, an account known as clvr will start attacking you. Whenever you use any bot and get some vote, this clvr will downvote you and take out a big portion from that. clvr will trace whenever you get some return from any bot and use appropriate voting weight of downvote so that most portion of your return is wiped out. Then you have no other option than to abandon that account and start a new steemit account. But, when you do that, be very careful that you should not do any type of transaction from the affected account to the new account. clvr is clever enough to find that it is your new account and will start attacking that account too. Anyway, your infected accounts can be safely used to hold your SP and upvote to earn curation rewards.

The best option is that, those people who lose the transferred money to SMARTSTEEM and does not get it returned, should not ask them and should not complain so that at least your account will be safe from the attack of clvr. Just forget that money. I have lost my 3 accounts, but my other accounts are safe because I take care to avoid any type of transaction or up-voting or similarity of posts between the affected and not-affected accounts.
