When my neighbour came by to visit, he was more than a little startled to find me lurking in the bushes by our letterbox armed with my camera. I tried to explain that I was simply photographing our creepy neighbours, but I don't think he really understood!
This cute spider was quite tiny, and I don't think he liked all the attention I was giving him. He was more than happy to run away when the photoshoot was over.
We get a lot of spiders in Australia. Some of them are more friendly than others. I don't mind little critters like this one, but the large, hairy huntsmen that are the size of the palm of your hand... well that's another story entirely! Unfortunately, we get a lot of those inside our house. Yuck, I have goosebumps just thinking about it!
