Color Challenge - Trursday Green - The green hills of Dragobrat

The name of the summit "Dragobrat" means: felling - that is, the place where the forest is cut down.

The height of the summit is 1763 m. The eastern and western slopes (across the spine) are steep, southern and northern (along the spine) - more gentle. To the height of 1400 m grow coniferous and beech forests, above - lie the valleys. On the eastern slopes, the mountains begin to leak a few streams, which merge into one: the Sidovetsky, who falls into the Black Tisza.

To the south of the peak, at a distance of more than 1 km, lies the main peak of Blyznytsa Mountain (1883 m), to the north, 2 km to Mount Stig (1704 m). 22 km east-south-east is Mount Hoverla (2061 m).

Dragobrat is part of the protected area - the Svydivets Reserve (part of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve). On the north-eastern slope lies the Dragobrat ski resort.

Several popular tourist routes pass through the summit, in particular: "The peaks of Svydivets" - from the village of Yasinya to the settlements of Ust-Chorna and Osmoloda-Gorgany-Swidivets-Rakhiv.

The nearest settlements: Yasinya settlement 11 km north-east, Trostyanets and Kvasy villages 9 and 10 km south, respectively.

Beautiful slopes! I wonder how they look in the winter and how nice it would be to ride these slopes on skies. Thanks @shady for sharing. What country is that?

Thanks. Dragobrat - a small intermontane valley and the highest mountain ski resort of the Ukrainian Carpathians.
