I got so excited to see this Lupine appear amongst my salvia flowers last week. I grew a few from seed last year but this was the only one that managed to come back and is just now blooming this fall. This is my photo for the #sundaypurple challenge, enjoy!
Thank you to @kalemandra for creating this wonderful #colorchallenge. Thank you for stopping by my post, I hope you enjoyed it.
Until next time, this is Sunscape...
Sun. Scape. Ing your day
Beautiful
Thank you!
I totally enjoyed it! I got no Lupine this year at all. I have no idea what happened to it all but this year nothing came up. Of course I went away for a month but I cannot imagine that it came up and died off before I got back. Your Lupine just made my day! have a most beautiful Sunday!

Oh thank you, Denise, I was shocked to see it. This spring I was so disappointed that I did not have the ones I grew come back. Of course, I had a lot of things take a real beating here from the winter. Perhaps I will have to grow some more this year in the greenhouse and try again. Have a most marvelous week. xoxo
Thank you so much and I hope you do the same. Somehow, maybe the seeds became no good and I know that after a couple years the lupines die off but usually come back because the old flowers throw off seeds. Somehow somebody wasn't doing their job this year or perhaps they froze before they could germinate. I think I would probably so more seeds in this fall and see how that works. We're like you say, put some in the greenhouse. That sounds an awful lot like work though. LOL
Hahaha, my greenhouse fills up very fast with all the flowers I grow. I love it although I am starting to cut back how much I am growing now. Perhaps throwing them in the ground is a better idea. At least mother nature does a great job. We will have to compare come springtime. ;-)
