I would recommend you give it a try @jayclar especially if it’s something you can do with your daughter. It is so much fun.......but it can be messy. You need plenty of room to work in, although I have to transform my dining room as I live in a unit. There are many artists teaching it on YouTube. It’s just a matter of seeing which one or two people you gel with and follow their teaching. I use a variety of paint as they certainly do vary in quality. Start with the basics and see how you go.

There's not a brand you'd recommend to start out with? I've looked at a couple, I don't know which ones they were now but I had no idea...
Basically, the more you pay for your paint, the better the outcome. But I'd recommend that you get some cheap craft paint to practise on as it does get expensive. A lot of paint is used in the process. It's up to you of course @jayclar One of my favourite brands is Leni by Boyles but whether it is available in your country I wouldn't know. Have fun and don't forget to tag me when you've created something you like.
Oh that's awesome, thank you!! I will look into it. I know a lot of what is here is imported, so you never know. :)
I shall...
