in #colorchallenge7 years ago

Hello and G'day everybody here on the Steem blockchain.
Calotropis gigantea (crown flower),called dok rak in Thai, is a shrub or small tree growing up to four metres tall.
It is native to Asia and sub-tropical parts of Southeast Asia. The plant has a white milky sap and is a poisonous plant.
In Thailand, they use the flowers in floral arrangements. The flowers are long lasting.

Calotropis procera is a pest in Western Australia and drought tolerant.
Afghan cameleers brought the crown flower into Australia and the Kimberleys. I found fair a bit of crown flower on my mates station. He tries to get rid of it.
