This fungus grows only near one type of tree - near the larch. Larch wood is very dark, there is little light, so bright yellow hat these fungi can be seen from afar. And Suillus elegans - a very good edible mushroom, collect it - a total pleasure.
Цей гриб росте лише біля одного типу дерев - модрини. Модриновий ліс дуже темний, там мало світла, тому яскраво-жовті капелюхи цих грибів видно здалека. А модриновий маслюк - дуже добрий їстівний гриб, збирати його - суцільне задоволення.

Never tried picking it. But have seen many of those around, might as well try and taste it :) Are there any preparation specifics?
It is worth taking those mushrooms in which you are sure that they are edible. Someone should show you this personally. I'm just starting to pick up new types of mushrooms for me.
