Brunfelsia pauciflora
Brunfelsia pauciflora is a species of flowering plants in the Solanaceae family, nightshades. It is endemic to Brazil, and grows in cultivation. The genus name 'Brunfelsia' commemorates the sixteenth century German monk, Otto Brunfels. The specific nickname pauciflora, refers to the Latin term for 'some interest.' This species is a 2.4 meter-high shrub with a width of 1.5. The rough leaves are up to 16 centimeters long, dark green at the top and pale at the bottom. Flowers carried in cymes until 10. The flower is about 5 centimeters. It blooms purple with a white throat, then turns into lavender and then white. Bush has all three flower colors at once more blooming. This plant is toxic especially fruit.
