I belong to the family of Gesnerians with great love. I grow them all - violets, streptocarpus and gloxinia.
What I like about this family is that they can be propagated by leaf cuttings, and gloxins can also be seeded.
For me, there are no difficulties and difficulties to grow a plant, and with the tubers, it's even easier.
Gloxinia plants are tuberous, and half their lives are in a period of rest. So - in the summer flowers, and in autumn and winter we store pots with flowers in a dark room.
Gloxinia is a very beautiful flower. In addition, there are so many varieties now that your eyes are scattered and you want to buy something new.
In gloxinia I like the Tigrin varieties - they are huge bells with the coloring of speckles. The flowers are so thin that they sometimes shine through the sun.
Brokada is a sort of terry gloxinium. Elegant flowering, very abundant and long lasting.
And anyway, everyone who grows this flower, from him just crazy.
Love flowers and they will always give you a wonderful mood!
