I don't understand how people love dogs and are all lovey-dovey with them. I mean, when I see dogs, my first instinct is to run. As fast as possible. One of the many embarrassing and funniest incidents I've had with dogs, here I am narrating a tiny one for you. It was late June and all my cousins were staying at ma grandma's place for summer vacations. As our place is just a couple streets always from my grandparents' place, I decided to go alone in the evening. The evening passed by in a blink and before I knew it, it was already 2 a.m. Now, I put wrapped my shawl around my body and was all set to go, and may I add, all alone. But as soon as I stepped out the door, I hear dogs howling. You better believe me when I say that was the most horrible sound I've heard. And most creepy as well. My heart (or I don’t remember if it was brain) told me to go back but the brave side of me decided to go ahead. Kidding. I went back of course. I went back and bought my 2years-younger-but-looks-like-2years-older cousin to accompany me. We both left and started walking towards the end of the street. I being me was walking step with step with him. But Alas! , who knew that the creepy horrendous creatures should be waiting for me just in the corner. How romantic. Yeah note the sarcasm. But my cousin being the brave big boy he took two steps back at the sight of dogs even before I could comprehend what’s going on. I don’t know what had gotten into me but I decided to move forward, taking every step very cautiously and slowly. I was quite surprised when the guy besides me didn’t make any voice either. It wasn't until the next day that I was informed why my cousin didn’t make any sound. He couldn't. Freaking dogs made me so damn oblivious to my surrounding and my reflexes that I never knew that I'm digging my finger nails, very long ones may I add, ripping his shirt apart in the process. Oh and not to forget the pain that my finger-digging talent caused and he couldn't move his arm properly for 2 days.
Haha cute story But yea dogs are mans best friend, faithful and loving!
Haha! Indeed. :)
