Comfort Zone!

in #comfortable7 years ago

The distance between your success and your failure is your comfort zone. Nothing great can be achieved by doing what is convenient. When we are kids we learn new skills every day and we never give until we acquire that particular skill. Recall the time when you learned how to ride a bicycle. I remember when I did. Fell uncountable times. Day in and day out I would fall and hurt my knees, but it didn’t stop me from fulfilling my desire to ride a bike. I think 90% of the people reading this article can resonate with this statement.

Our life is not easy, it is not comfortable. It keeps on throwing stones and hurdles toward us. The problem is the fear of the unknown. No one wants to explore and discover what could have been, had they tried and pursued their dream. We need to learn how to struggle beyond what we can achieve. By trying to lift more, by running that extra mile or by dedicating one hour every night and dedicating to what we like the most and by which we can achieve abundance in your life. I never wanted to leave my home country and travel across half of the world and do everything on my own. Life did not allow me to stay in my comfort zone; instead, I travelled across the world and worked hard every day to make a decent living.

I have mentioned this line in a previous blog, “Don’t let life happen to you and work hard so that life happens for you”. Do small things you are afraid of and take risks in life. I saw a picture of someone doing aerial acrobatics and looked really scary. But I felt uncomfortable but I thought I should give this a go. I signed up for a class. It’s not the most inspiring example but it will give the confidence to do my best even in the most unfavorable and uncomfortable situation. Your choices will eventually determine your outcomes in life. You will have to piss some people off to achieve your dreams. Your family wants to go for dinner at an acquaintance’s place and you want to go, but you have to skip your workout or the hour you allotted to achieve your dreams.

Now the decision is yours, you will have to say no to the fun now to enjoy later. Life will reward you eventually with everything you ever wanted but first put in the work so you can have fun later. I am an aspiring accountant so the way I see it is, that you have to make an initial lump sum payment/capital and invest in the business (life) your hard-work, commitment and your discomfort towards your goals and then life will pay you back with regular profits. Make a lump-sum payment up front and enjoy the annuity during your lifetime. Don’t read this article and think what, Oh yeah! This is great and forget about it. Try to implement these things. People and life will take notice and decide to help you achieve everything you ever wanted. Dream it, do it, live it!!
