you know how upvotes generates value right? the more steem power an account have, the more value their upvotes give

so, steem powers are resources LOCKED inside the ecosystem

to power down, it takes 13 weeks to convert steem power back into STEEM

then from STEEM, you can convert it through to real world cash

Powering down means making the asset in a liquid position.

Powering UP means making the asset in a fixed position (within the ecosystem).
