Yesterday, July 20, 2018, was the 49th Anniversary of Man reaching the Moon!
But in comics, Fantastic Four commemorated the event in the May, 1970 issue, published circa February, 1970. The story is closely linked to Apollo 11's travel to our satellite.
As in all Kirby's stories,it was full of adventure, pathos and action. BUT, to be truthful, they already had traveled to the big Cheese in the sky, way back in Fantastic Four # 13, cover dated April 1963, in real life, around January of the same year!
If you have the opportunity, please, read Fantastic Four # 1-101! Those are the best years in any comic book, EVER!!
Fortunately, in social media, at least to my knowledge, the past few days were peaceful enough, and conspiracy nuts didn't mention the usual "facts" about the Moon Landing being fake!
