The amazing continuation of "Wolves Of The Old World" leads the reader to discover many revelations. The copy of "The Incredible Hulk" #802 that I picked up from Conquest Comics (@blewitt) also possessed an incredible variant cover from Martin Simmonds. I can only interpret the drawing as the anguish felt by the beast living within the man. However, recently Bruce Banner is experiencing the anguish from the man living within the beast.
Werewolf By Night is trying to help Charlie Tidwell as she maneuvers life with the power achieved from the stolen Godskin. The rightful owner of the skin, Lycana, is filling Charlie's head with blood-thirsty thoughts. Werewolf By Night is trying to convince Charlie that he isn't the danger that she faces and that Lycana will never let her be released from this predicament she finds herself in.
Lycana's brother, Varcolac, is busy tangling with the Hulk. Varcolac doesn't care about the stolen Godskin. His only drive is his thirst for blood! This blood can come from any source but the Hulk's plasma intrigues him at the moment. Charlie manages to help the Hulk escape as Varcolac was trying to drag them both into his dimension. Now, Charlie is also cursed with a fate that she is going to constantly be on the run from. This brings a whole new dimension (no pun intended) to their story. Well done, Phillip Kennedy Johnson!
