This past month, Marvel Comics published a reboot of our favorite R-Rated superhero, Deadpool. Not afraid to break the Fourth Wall, as we say in acting class, Deadpool takes care of the bad guys while having an inability to die as he practices his standup routine at the same time. Cody Ziglar handled the writing duties for issue #1, while Rogê Antônio handled the artwork. In one of the action scenes, Deadpool announces that he'd "hate to be the artist that has to draw all this." It's nice that Wade Wilson was thinking of poor Antônio while involved in a frantic chase, but the artist did an amazing job of ensuring that each panel presented a cohesiveness and crispness that allowed the reader to follow the action easily.

Wilson is trying to get lost in his work so he doesn't have to dwell on his broken heart. His travel companion is his daughter Princess, who just so happens to be a symbiote in the form of a dog. He does have a human daughter, Ellie, whom he has left with the Prestons to look after her in Arizona. He doesn't feel he has the ability to not mess up her life just yet.

While bounty hunting, he chases a potential cash cow through a portal and finds a hooded masked gentleman who soon discovers that Deadpool is a worthy adversary. After licking his wounds, Wilson's opponent tells the rest of his clan that they could learn a lot from Deadpool. This arc of Deadpool's life is just beginning and it looks like there will be plenty of blood, sweat and tears along the way!
