Over 6 months ago, Marvel Comics published "Roxxon Presents: Thor!" #1. With Al Ewing (writer), Greg Land (penciler), Jay Leisten (inker) and Frank D'Armata (colorist) as some of those enlisted to bring Thor together with Marvel's fictional energy company, the God of Thunder enters the corporate world as Chad Hammer. The joke appears to be that our hero has taken a job in the tech field that he loves with a company known for their underhandedness.
The fact that Thor agreed to get a haircut blows my mind. Loki takes on the familiar role as Thor's wicked brother who is actually against Roxxon, like most heroes are supposed to be. Everything seems to be an advertisement for Roxxxon in this issue! Not needing keys for Thor's truck was stated to make things easy, that is after swiping his hammer three times, opening up his Roxxbook account, entering his pin number, agree to the terms and conditions and finally confirming the confirmation. He never sweats the fact that he could have been at his destination faster by raising his hammer.
Loki does have some devious plans to destroy Thor but also Loki's own Tik-Tok, cancel-culture loving followers. Minotaur offers Thor his guidance at Roxxon with all matters of protecting the earth. Meanwhile, Thor's best friend Skurge the Executioner is enjoying watersports trying to impress a woman whose heart is with Thor. While the issue is not chock full of action, it will give you a good laugh!
