While checking out the Clown Café, otherwise known as the cafeteria, during this past iHeartHorror event in Sayreville, New Jersey, I got to run into many people I haven't seen in a long time. Vendors were circling the area, while attendees and guests were satisfying their appetites. Not everyone here was feasting on blood!

While walking around the cafeteria, I came across South Jersey Jason, as well as an opportunity to win a raffle of an Italian food basket from Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace. I have been to their Shrewsbury, New Jersey, location and all I can say is their place is amazing. On the weekends, a traveling singer covers every section of the store.

Nestled in a back corner of the café, I had the chance to meet Christian Angeles. Angeles is a former Managing Editor of The Workprint, a website that reviewed entertainment projects. He has also written for IGN and The Gamer. With dreams of becoming more involved with comic books, Angeles work can be found in "The Tomb Of Baalberith: Volume 2." This anthology is the brainchild of inker Mark McKenna, whose artistry can be found in Marvel and DC comics.

Angeles was also selling other comic books, such as the set of "Thor: God Of Thunder Volume 1: The God Butcher" and "Thor: God Of Thunder Volume 2: Godbomb," which he convinced me to purchase after comparing them to the recent movies. With each purchase, he was giving away a copy of "Paperless," which appeared to be done in the format of the old fanzines.

"Paperless" was a comic that was created in one day as a collaboration with artist Ryan J. Smith. Put together between October 27th and October 28th of 2017, this was a winner of a contest sponsored by Colab-Arts of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Given a specific framework, Angeles wrote a story where a tree saves itself from destruction and decides to become part of the town he is from. After getting a job with a company to be more like the humans and secretly save the trees, he works his way up to CEO. Replacing humans with trees, the green initiative has gone to the extreme. It made him realize he became as bad as the humans! Angeles loves working in current issues into his stories. Besides being a talented writer, he was a lot of fun to converse with. Look for this man to be appearing in more comic book projects soon!
