I can't say a lot about the new movies vs the old ones, all I know is recently if I've gone to a movie I've actually been watching the cg and if the characters are actually interesting I may then pay more attention. For Star Wars specifically I got annoyed with the whiny entitled fans online and just stopped going anywhere (including the actual movies!) where I might encounter them XD

Thanks @ryivhnn happy that you liked it :) Yeah I hear ya about the fans. At this point the Star Wars franchise could put out any steaming pile of turd and the mega fans would go mental over it. I enjoy it but not crazy about it.
