Will Lost's Damon Lindelof bring something new to the table, or is it just another cynical way to make cash from the superhero craze.

Without knowing anything about the creative team behind this, but I know I loved the Watchmen movie and the only thing it was missing was more scenes, which only like a ten or twelve episode series on HBO could bring. If they can up the accuracy of the material to source even more than the movie did, I will be super satisfied.
