The use of the internet searching machines is essentially important in communicating the hotels products and services. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google are the hotels social media that can help the company to increase its e-marketing on the internet. For example, Crown hotels are using Facebook as a communication method to show the services they offer and the resources available in the hotel. More potential customers can be reached, ensuring more profits due to the increased sale (Management Study Guide, 2013). The use of the blogs on the internet can help the hotel to attract more customers around the globe. The use of emails has helped the hotel industries to attract more customers (Crown Towers Hotel, n.d).
Emails have enabled the customers to book hotels while they are far away from the hotels. Also, the newsletters have been used to communicate to the royal customers on the existence of new services and discounts. These communication strategies have helped the hotels to establish their loyal customers who visit daily or in over the weekends. The disadvantage of using this strategy is that the use of blogs may not adequately reach the targeted market; as those who use twitter may not be using Facebook.
