There's isn't really. I mean there's a few things here and there but not really regular gatherings. She engages with a few friends who have similar interests but not an open invite thing. She is not on social media, neither am I, so we probably miss things for that reason too. Just can't seem to find the effort to be on Facebook. Hate it.
Steem on the other hand is cool. (Good steem seed planting, by the way...) 😉
I hate Facebook EXCEPT for its ability to unite community groups, which Steem simply cant do.. yet! I dont post or scroll feeds, except for the groups I am in.
I used to have it but deleted it a couple years back as I found it too invasive. I miss out on things but I'm happy to do so and not have it. If used in the way you're using it I can see no problem with it, just can't bring myself to go back.
