Crochet Skirt || WIP

I had waited almost tge whole year and kind of gave up on Uyo fashion week but it came around and us scheduled for September. Usually this event takes place evert May. I wanted fir May. No post on their ig. No anticipation. No call for designers. No call for Models. I gave up after June because I was feeling oh they might push it to June.

Finally a post popped up on my ig a few weeks ago and I dunno if I was mad at the organizers for keeping everyone in the blank or I should be happy because fashion week is back!!! I had to rush and do research then do a few sketches so I can clearly make tge idea in my head.

I did a few sketches. Obviously I did a lot of ripping of pages because I kept getting it wrong. I'm not that good with sketches ao moat times it's hard to draw what's in my head but I finally got it. This design is pat he's put together and obviously I'll be wearing Monochrome. Lol. A lot of people have seen me make my major gits in tblack and white so they just call me the Monochrome queen. And it's a cute name.

Anyways I don't want only granny squares so I added few of this cable crochet that I recently learnt. Did granny squares to and went on to learn this flower like pattern (I forgot to check the name 😅) and those are the three textures I want on my skirt. Did I mention earlier that it was a skirt? I don't even remember but yeah this is the skirt design I'm working on.

I Finally got to finish all the white pat he's so I'm feeling giddy to move on to the black patches. Got so tired of seeing white I can't even explain it. I finished these squares in two days and I'm feeling myself over here.

4.0 mm hook

40g yarns [ all white]
