Yes.... growing up, nearly always creamed potatoes that were put in the electric mixer after cooking and peeling so there were no lumps! Mashed sometimes really means the same, but other times still have small lumps of un-mashed potatoes still included. We thought something was wrong if they had lumps when I was a child.

Now there are some sold at the grocery store put out by Bob Evans which is a restaurant chain in the US (don't know about anywhere else) Believe it or not, they are nearly as good as homemade! So sometimes at home I cheat and buy them instead of doing all that work just for me.

So many cute things, so much plastic! My normal tall water cup that I sip out of all day is stainless steel. For some reason I feel safe with that.
