Thank you for sharing this first hand experience. For many years, about a decade ago, I worked closely with dozens of people who were, at the time, homeless. It is critical that good info like this is shared--too many people stigmatize homelessness and don't realize the vast majority of people are one bad break from being homeless themselves.
