That is awesome! Like you I'm more of an outdoorsy person, I didn't even have my own cellphone until 2019! When I found Steemit in 2016 I did everything on my laptop. So much magic! I also couldn't imagine making connections online that were just as significant as personal contact, but I certainly did, with so many amazing people:)
I have a feeling the things you share in common with Ed are ones you would share in common with myself and my hubs. Logic has flown the coop from so many areas of this world, but I still have managed to find like-minded people on Hive :)
