I stumbled on the bed case and it was like a mighty hand laid hold of me, I struggled to locate the window to see if rays of light could be kind enough to enter the dark and scary room. I flinched at every shadow i saw thinking they might be some kind of evil spirits coming to get me. I'm very sure I must have offended the ancestors of those mosquitoes that sucked, stung and even bit every part of me. It was more like an earthly hell, a terrible nightmare or worse still, a night of terror. The walls were closing in on me, the clothes made a majestic walk towards me to grab me, the shoes made evil sound and every objects in the room had their part to play to add to the merciless mosquitoes who sucked my life out.
Left alone in the dark, my thoughts of how the day went started unfolding, could this be my punishment for making a sarcastic statement about my father because he wore one of the ancient trousers I've ever set my eyes on, the one I'm sure even his grandfather would deny the ownership of such trouser but he also laughed over it or could this be my punishment for scolding a small girl who asked God to punish her if she was the one that carried her brother's pen whereas she was cautiously hiding the pen in her trouser pocket. No! No! It can't be, my mind wandered carefully reminiscing the events that took place during the day. Just then, one of the mosquitoes, I guess the most wicked of them all stung me badly and I lost count of what I was thinking.
I ran my hands on the bed in search of my phone, luckily I grabbed the phone, pressed the power button with all my might but it was of no use because the battery had gone down due to the songs I played all day. Just when I thought hell would break loose that night, that's when my neighbour, who loves bathing as early as dawn wakes, opened the door of his room, came out with his radio that was playing one of the worst songs ever, I leaped out of the bed with the happiness that dawn has finally freed me from the terrifying thoughts of the night.

Nice, I'm a night owl also and most of my life never slept until the break of dawn. Almost like you said it's safe to go to sleep at that time!
Though some nights are scary, some are cool and filled with inspirations
