Oh, probably more the latter than the former. :) I'm okay with collecting free cards. However, now I'm presented with the same situation I find myself in when I try to determine when to buy STEEM. Is that the highest it's going to be? What's this puppy really worth? Should I just hodl? What if the whole thing falls apart?

You just have to give them your posting key and you can see what you get from the packs. You'll still be two packs ahead of me. Still haven't gotten any. With the price of Steem so low, it's hard to justify paying that much for cards. If the price of Steem goes up, I may buy better cards. Until then, just powering up. :D
Yeah. I figured out how to get in last week and opened the pack of cards I won then. Now I've got two packs. These are the cards:
So, I've got two fire beetles and two divine healers. I guess most of them are common, but there is one rare and one epic. Whatever any of that is supposed to mean. :)

Well, the dark enchantress is the epic and she's worth around $0.35 right now. The Enchanted pixie is rare and is going for around $1.20 at this moment. The centaur is around $0.75 and the others are all less.
Still, not too bad for your first cards. And you can make a little profit by selling them!
