pennies are great because they are both a fiat currency and a valuable commodity.
did you know that Canada has deemed the penny too insignificant to use anymore?? consequently the banks claimed something like 14 million in pennies in 2017, after telling people they are useless. they have big barrels in the banks to throw your pennies in! and the band plays on.......
I recently heard Canada did that, give me a barrel of fucking pennies! $3000 in US copper pennies is a ton of copper. Of course that is great news for me, melt 'em down boyos! That will make mine more rare.
