Welcome to a great new community

The Unmentionables

The Unmentionables

Steemit is a place of amazing potential. Its vision and promise are what brought us all here. But for a small fish ... or even a medium sized fish -- the pond can be overwhelming. Getting seen isn't easy. Finding your audience takes work. Getting those first few encouraging comments or upvotes may take so long you start to feel invisible. Our community, however, can help you realize you are not alone.

We support one another. We give meaningful feedback. We can provide the fertile ground you need to grow. If you know you create good content and you know your work is undervalued, we can help you through the transition time as you find your footing and hit a new level of creativity and excellence.

Working together we can help in ways you just can't find as easily working alone. Good members like you can help grow our presence on Steemit, and the group can help shorten the time it takes you to succeed. It's a win-win for everyone, because that's what we aim for!

YOU can be part of this group. You can take part in this great opportunity.

The Unmentionables hold to these ideals:

  • Loyalty
  • Selflessness
  • Help and support
  • Care and respect
  • Friendship and a feeling of family

Our Discord server has channels dedicated to post promotion, post improvement, community chat, contests, cryptocurrency, and much, much more. We also have mentors available to answer your specific questions about formatting, writing, images, or anything else that will help you produce better posts.

Our group account, @unmentionable, has over 10,000 delegated Steem Power! Each day, our account votes on the best content from among our members, giving an average of $1 per vote! We also feature regular curation posts showcasing our selected posts.

EDIT: OUR ACCOUNT IS BACK RUNNING!

Hello & Cheers!! I'm a content detection and information bot. You are receiving this reply because a short link or links have been detected in your post/comment. The purpose of this message is to inform your readers and yourself about the use of and dangers of short links.

To the readers of the post: Short links are provided by url shortening services. The short links they provide can be useful in some cases. Generally their use is benign. But as with all useful tools there are dangers. Short links can be used to hide all sorts of things. Quite frequently they are used to hide referral links for instance. While not dangerous this can be deceptive. They can also be used to hide dangerous links such as links to phishing sites, sites loaded with malware, scam sites, etc. You should always be extremely cautious before clicking on one. If you don't know and trust the poster don't click. Even if you do you should still be cautious and wary of any site you are sent to. It's always better to visit the site directly and not through a short link.

To the author of the post: While short links may be useful on some sites they are not needed on steemit. You can use markdown to format your links such as this link to steemit. It's as simple as [steemit](https://steemit.com) Unlike short links this allows the reader to see where they are going by simply hovering over the link before they click on it.

This message was created by a bot. It is part of the ongoing fight against spam and phishing attacks on steemit. If you did not use short links in your post and feel you have received this message in error you can contact @fubar-bdhr on discord or @fubar.bdhr on steemit chat to report the issue.

Stuff like this was a big reason I was scared to post, comment or do much of anything on Steemit during my first month or so here. There are all these "unwritten rules" and you never know when you're going to trip over one and get a visit from something like this. In fact, it's a perfect example, because this is the first time I knew the shortened links that are in this post would get somebody's panties in a knot.

Maybe it's legitimate information for all the reasons listed. I just find it damned annoying. My 2c worth, here in the midnight hour. Maybe I'll be in a better mood in the morning.

It's a Google Docs Form, with some questions .

This is pretty silly. We'll do the long URL for the next one, I suppose.

Google docs forms no longer receive these comments. Or at least they shouldn't.

cool ...
Such a community is needed by the steemit community.
Hopefully this community continues to grow well, I'm very interested in things like this. Thanks for bringing it.

@unmentionables is really a community of love and friendliness. Hope to talk to you some some more one-on one. Thanks for sharing

It's true @hopehuggs, steemit is amazing, here we share information and greet each other, here we make friendship without limited space and time, I always convey to my friends to immediately join to then enjoy how happy we are in a community of this world, love already sharing @hopehuggs, although you do not mention me but i am very interested in your writing, thank

Hi @mukhar.juned I will definitely check out some of your posts. I'm very sorry I have neglected to do so , so far.

I am doing a freewrite challenge. Are you okay with me sharing this with the group?

Yes we have a writing #channel called colorful fairyland and you'd be welcome to post about it there. Also happy to give a shout out about it too.

That would be great. I find you in discord? Or do I need an invite?

The future of @unmentionable s looking bright! This is one of my favorite groups to be a part of. @ironshield

Very good. Congratulations. I go to them to see if they admit me.

Now I feel like the jerk of the family after reading that. Unlike me you are pretty likable Huggedyhugsgirl.

Anyway, I am still glad to be a part of the family.
