A pair of sandals for 20 pupils not 1 pupil. Actually, it shouldn't cost that much in SBDs if there is a significant increase in the market value of SBD compared to the "current value". If it happens, then it might even result in half of the initial cost or even less than half. Assuming SBD hits $7, then it's possible for 1 SBD to purchase a pair of sandals.

Thanks for clarification. I wasn't sure what the '20' was in your calculation, but it makes a lot more sense now.
Still, I wear Nikes, and paid $7 for them at Goodwill. Used shoes. Sure, people will not like that, but used Nikes is a lot better than new sandals for my purposes. I've been wearing the same pair now for years. It's about time to get some new ones. New to me, at least.
