Institutional investors bring respectability to the market. They also often bring regulators. This may be a rare case where the small guys can actually be ahead of the institutional investors or it may just be another case where the institutional investors squeeze out the little guy.
All these regulators are going to try and do what they can, but the reality is, crypto doesn't care. The train is moving and eventually it will collapse entire governments.
