The jumper appeared to be fully charged. I tried to do a quick re-read of the instructions at the time and I "thought" it said if the battery was all the way dead, it may not work, but has a boost feature on it that might help, but then it seemed to say if you used that button, then the warrantee was no longer good? I was trying to do it fast because of the short time of light left, so I am not sure at this moment if I read that right. Now surely if I had been stranded away from home and not in a safe place, I would have used "the button" without hesitation, but being I was home, getting started was not an emergency and there would be another solution when I had time, I chose not to push it.

I dunno if that was valid thinking on it or not.
