We do not have the ability to not hurt our friends because we are human beings. Knowing this make most of us lost trusting .
You should stop trusting too soon no matter how close they come.
I have learned my lessons trusting people.
Life itself has taught me that you can not control someone’s loyalty. No matter how good you are to them, does not mean that they will treat you the same. No matter how much they mean to you, does not mean that they will value you the same. Sometimes the people you love the most, turn out to be the people you can trust the least.
Limiting how you trust people is a therapy to not be much hurt from friends and family.
Trust is lost in the dictionary of Kings.

I agree with you to a great extent @olorijoshua. This world is so full of diverse disloyalties and backstabbings. In fact, I just experienced another one I may not like to share on steemit right now.
The experience was like an Evander Holyfield's blow in the face.
These series of experiences have thought me to live my life in a way that I trust everyone but I also don't trust anyone.
This means I trust people, I give them the benefit of the doubt but when they stab me in the back, I see it as one of those things. I don't really get hurt. I must shield my heart from getting hurt at all times.
