Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Spin off from the Metal Gear saga, starring one of the most famous characters in the MGS universe, Raiden. The game is also the first of the series to be multiplatform and its development is in charge of the creators of titles like Bayonetta or Vanquish.
A formidable and exciting show of action. This is how Revengeance is presented, the new installment of the Metal Gear series. Raiden leads an impressive adventure from a visual and playable point of view, a release that may be a bit short but one of the most intense experiences of recent times. The creation of Hideo Kojima is disguised as Hack and Slash ferocious and wild, but also hilarious and great.
It is one of the most entertaining games I've played and I really loved its gameplay. Being able to modify the cyborg suits and have access to the weapons of your enemies makes it much more interesting. Although the story is already well known and a bit repetitive, the gameplay is what enhances it from others.
the game was passed in "difficult" mode and it was a feat to advance levels. There are very few times when you can go recovering between battles. the most important thing is to know how to use their tools and resources when modifying both weapons and suits. It is important to know what weapons and what suits to wear with each "Enemy"
here I leave a very good article about the game and I hope you dare to start this adventure. Despite being not so new, it is worth submerging in your world.
Man or Machine
In the game we will be Raiden, a character who has had some moments of great importance in the Metal Gear series, but who rises here as the real protagonist and the real engine that makes the narrative work. The argument is more than interesting to talk about as we do a Hack and Slash, a genre that unfortunately has traditionally not taken too much care of their scripts. Do not expect the plot depth of the previous works of the series, because after all this is a spin-off so it does not follow the saga itself, but there will be infinity of cinematics and a huge amount of information.
In fact, we began our first minutes in the story mode visualizing a long cinematic in which the context is presented. As usual, we will try to count as little as possible, but we will give a handful of harmless and vague brushstrokes on what we are told. In the title we act as escort, along with other members of a robust security team, in what seems to be a routine mission of an important VIP that we accompany, the most important of the world political scene in fact. How could it be otherwise the situation is twisted by the emergence of a series of cyborgs that attack the convoy and bring to light the most dangerous side of Raiden himself, who seemed somewhat appeased and unleashes his furious homicidal rage.
Everything begins little less than as a relief, but from there it begins to build a convoluted plot that takes us through various parts of the world knowing different characters, and infiltrating many enemy bases strongly defended. Revengeance works of course as a celebration of wild action and unleashed, but his script is not stupid and although it does not reach levels too high the truth is that with a minimum of attention can be followed with dispassionate interest. Of course, if the reader considered intrusive or burdensome the number of videos of Guns of the Patriots, the latest installment of the series for desktop consoles, here you will find again a good portion of these. Rising does not present a cinematic footage as long as Metal Gear Solid 4, but lovers of mindless action will enjoy the option of omitting these sequences since certain profiles may find the amount of CGIs excessive and untimely ... especially in the first third of the campaign.
The rest? The rest of us will enjoy a script that moves with skill in various parts of the world, and that presents some villains that, as is traditional, will be so outlandish in terms of their appearance as fascinating in terms of psyche. In the section of the graphical section we will detail the brilliance and the charisma of his designs, but we already anticipate that from the narrative point of view they are not there, because they all have their motivations and their history behind them. Everything is presented with great detail, in scenes with even so much information that it will divide the players once again among those who will consider it superfluous and those who will see it as essential, but who in all cases have in common that obsessive attention to the details that have always had all the characters in this series ... heroes or villains.
On the other hand during the development we were already struck by some words of Atsushi Inaba noting that he agreed that the purely playable part of the title could take us about five hours, but that these would not count the cinematic, so the figure guaranteed to be increases in a remarkable way So the duration of the program is relatively questionable, but we already assure that as an experience it is the most intense that can be found at this time. It is a journey that will leave us exhausted, and that may not have multiplayer or entertainment beyond the story beyond a few training challenges, but it is brutal and excessive, clearly demonstrating the enviable state of form They have the Platinum Games guys.
