5 Tobacco use

Tobacco use also declined significantly over the past 50 years. In the United States, the percentage of people who smoked a packet per day was 35 percent in 1957, and 20 percent in 2017.

4 Marriage

In 1968, 56% of Americans aged 18-31 were married. In 2014 the percentage dropped to 23%.

In 1910, the average IQ would be 70, according to current measurements. Now, the average is between 130 and 150, depending on the measurement.
