I LEARNED TO WAIT
I didn’t grow up with horses but they were a part of me deeply to my core. I didn’t learn to ride until I was 18. My only other exposure to horses was feeding a horse that was in a pasture while living in Germany. I often think back to this time when I was between 9-10 years old. Why would that horse come up to me and eat the same grass from my hand that he could easily reach himself?
I guess there was a connection. When I started riding, I followed that connection and rose thru the classes that were offered at the University. I continued with playing Polo before I would move on.
After I moved to Colorado, I bought my first horse and my understanding of horses deepened within me. Finally, the real test began. I started taking Horse Shoeing classes. It was quickly apparent that I held a special touch with horse. When we were assigned horses to work on during our classes, I LEARNED TO WAIT!
It never failed, I would get started and have one hoof prepared then the instructor would come up to me and say, “Stephen, can you take this other horse, ---- is having trouble with him?” Sure, let me grab my tools!
After a while, I would sit back and wait, watch and amuse myself. The other students would approach horse after horse until they found the one they thought was the gentlest of them all. On the other hand, I would walk up and try to find the one just for me. If the horse snorted fire, this was the horse for me!
Someday, I might have to tell you about Jewel, the 5 year old 16 hand mare that had never had her feet touched! (she picked me up off the ground with her hind leg and held me there suspended in the air!) I might also have to tell you about the black and white paint that was the prize to shoe if you were choose to be the best candidate!

You just knew if you kept reading I would get to the point of this writing eventually! EVENTUALLY! Now, that is a word to conquer all!
When I was first introduced to COMPUMATRIX, I was what is known as “a program jumper”. For some reason, this one stuck around, evolved and is ready for the World of Cryptocurrency. The question is are you ready?
You see, horses taught me patience and along the way, I learned not to always look for the easy solutions. Horses may have prepared me for COMPUMATRIX but nothing can truly prepare you for the future unless you Cowboy Up and GET IN THE SADDLE!
Having worked around horses in my teens but not going through learning to shoe a horse but most of the other care needed, I can say you are right on track with your analogy. Learning to wait, learning to read the signals the horse gives you allows you to respond in a manner that will benefit both the horse and rider.
In business we also watch not just the trends but where we are as a business and Compumatrix has ridden the winding trail that has lead us to the point we are today. Strong leadership and foresight into has brought us to the point where we are today. Glad you stayed the course and hung in there when many others threw in the towel!
However, the waiting time is just about over. This leads to the next stage of learning we have ahead of us. We have more distance to travel with our business and many more hours of: "are we there yet?" Of course, this is like traveling together on a highway when we start getting to go off on the local roads we must travel. We will always have the memories of those we traveled with but our paths will start taking separate routes as we fulfill our individual purposes. (We will each write a book with what we do with our purpose.)
