I am grateful to MS, by cutting off an OS every few years, hoping to force us to spend money on a new OS we do not need, they are providing that extra push needed for us to move over to Linux. I am now, sometimes, using Mint and once I have learnt how to use wine on it, I am very likely to make it my regular OS.
The faster it heappens, the better, for I hate the idea of supporting Gates.

I'm considering it. For now I've got a live USB stick of linux.. problem is the games are slow to come and then theres the issue of wifi
If you read up about wifi...you just might decide that anything that lessens your use of wifi is a gain.
