As a quick preface, “residence” is only possible with ARTIFICIAL LEGAL CORPORATIONS called “PERSONS.” “Legal personalities” have legal government benefits rather than actual “rights.” These “benefits” are underwriten by the UNITED NATIONS. So, the U.N. appears to be bankrolling the INSURANCE FRANCHISE for ELECTRONIC PERSONHOOD in Japan, Inc and Europe, Inc.
“Residency” is a temperary land permit for Offices/Officers at the Commercial/[Holy] Sea jurisdiction. It’s vacation time for the artificial person. Yet it is the artificial person that works.
The Non-Physical Non-Existence of a computer program pretending to be a “human” does not grant the computer nor software any basic rights; nor should it confur any governmental benefits.
AI Legal Personhood is so insane that when Apple puts their new AI Chip for Siri in the iPhone, the iPhone itself can and likely will be declared an “electronic person” by the government, particularly so they can own it and everything on it.
The whole point of “PERSONHOOD” -and having the “strawman” (otherwise known as a United Nations “Corporate Overlay” Legal Presence Statutory Birth Certificate)- is that the corporation is an insurance franchise layer to protect the “natural person” from actual damages. The “governmental corporation” abuses that very system against the people they are supposed to be operating. They have made human beings into SURETY via Authorized Signature rather than Executor of the Estate via Authorized Representative. This change of status is as simple as writing the text “authorized representative” under any and all signatures; be sure to cross out anything else that’s there.
The United States Corporation has already declared CASH as a PERSON and can be sued. This is one reason it is absolutely known that a “[Legal Artificial] PERSON” is a debt insurance corporate franchise.
Giving Computers equal status to “legal persons” is a terrible idea. Now we know how the corporate slavery governments see their “person-corporatehood”: as robots without a mind (though sometimes an “interesting” matrix output).

Tokyo (AFP) – An AI character was made an official resident of a busy central Tokyo district on Saturday, with the virtual newcomer resembling a chatty seven-year-old boy.
The boy named “Shibuya Mirai” does not exist physically, but he can have text conversations with humans on the widely used LINE messaging app.
Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward, an area popular with fashion-conscious young people, has given the character his own special residence certificate.
This makes him Japan’s first, and maybe the world’s first, artificial intelligence bot to be granted a place on a real-life local registry.
Mirai, whose name means “future” in Japanese, is supposed to be a first grader at an elementary school.
He can reply to messages and make light-hearted alterations to selfies he is sent.
Shibuya said the project aimed to make the district’s local government more familiar to residents and allow officials to hear their opinions.
“His hobbies are taking pictures and observing people. And he loves talking with people… Please talk to him about anything,” the ward said in a statement with Microsoft, the joint developer of the AI character.
