CONFLICT AND RESOLUTION
Conflict is a serious disagreement or argument between two or more persons,while resolution is the process of solving a problem,so now am talking about conflict resolution which is the means of solving a problem or misunderstanding between different parties it could be in a company,school or marketplace etc.
Conflict is something that happens amongst a group of persons especially when they do not come in agreement of something they are discussing, for example Mr john suggests they change the company's but Mr Philips insist it remains the same during the heat of this argument they started exchanging punches the manager had to rush in with some security men to stop them and he told both of them that he would like to think about it and he would figure out which is better,he said that to resolve the conflict between them. Another type of conflict is the one when someone feels superior to another the person feels he or she is more important than other people in other ways,this type of attitude of superiority in most societies triggers conflict when the other party feels oppressed this could make the other voice out angrily especially when that person is given preferential treatment, just like in a family where the parents love one child more than the other, that other child won't be happy about it and in most cases won't be in good terms with the most loved one there would always be quarrels and fights between them hatred and violence.
So, it is left for the parents now to settle them and the only way is by loving them equally letting them know that they are both loved that would be the only resolution.I have also seen cases where conflict leads to death,two friends in a serious argument from there they start fighting and before you know it the other carries a knife and stabs the other to death because people didn't come on time to settle them in such case it is too late for resolution. Although the involved parties may hope to reach a solution to their dispute sometimes but psychological and interpersonal factors can frustrate their attempts to control the conflict and in this case conflict escalation occurs,they seek out information that supports their views and reject the ones that opposes their views and they become more established in their original position. So sometimes trying to settle a conflict could be in vain especially when both parties are stubborn and unrepentant.
In conclusion conflicts destroys things so let us all embrace peace.
