Although I think Consensus 2018 will have a good impact for the space (in terms of publicity), not sure what it will do with the price. End of Q2 news is often more interesting since it is time to deliver on roadmaps and promises for a lot of projects :-)

Well I think a lot of projects find investors at this conference as well and we see that money get invested over the weeks/months that follow the conference, which is why we often see that big uptrend following the event. I would not be surprised to see that happen again, even if the initial hype pop is not as high as in some years previously.
That is a fair point. I do think that in previous years a lot of that money was fresh fiat money coming into the space. This year we'll probably see a shift from money that currently is invested in one project, going to another.
You could have a good point still though, there are relatively much more 'investors' this year than developers at the conference.
Agreed. Over half the people in attendance are from outside the US as well, which is pretty interesting. Not sure the numbers have been like that before?!
