Well, truth is that all I have is speculations. I don't know. I know that I don't know. I know I have been fluoridated, indoctrinated and misinformed for the biggest part of my life. You would not believe how much crap I firmly believed just a few years ago. 2 years ago I would have laughed you out the door if you had mentioned chemtrails. Now I see things differently. But I am also aware that I might say the same thing in two years from now again. Maybe I am completely wrong about everything. Just because I have a pretty negative and hopeless perspective does not mean that I am on a mission to convince anyone else. Maybe you are right. If you are right, we will have certainly a better future than if I was right. So, I'd rather live in your projected reality than in mine. Only time will tell :)
So the bright side is that you're inquisitive and continuing to grow. And you recognize when Nikki Haley is lying! Those are three great attributes to help you figure things out, and there are many others doing the same and communicating with each other. They're putting the puzzle pieces together. I think we have come a long way in a short time. Imagine when the MSM starts telling the truth - and they have to because they can't compete with the independent press. They have been so biased that everyone is tuning them out. I think we are going to see big changes in politics first.
What kind of independent press are you talking about??? Are we on the same internet or do you know about any reliable sources I have never heard of? I'm afraid I am missing something here...
I can understand that. I spend most of my time sifting through the news and comparing what different sites say and they all have their strengths and weaknesses too. If you want to read details about Syria, go see what Gordon Duff and Jim Dean have to say on Veteran's Today or follow Eva Bartlett on twitter. I tend to move around, favouring a source for awhile and then outgrowing it when I find a better one.
Yeah, sure, there is a handful of honest journalists still around, despite the censorship, demonetization and shadow-banning. But more and more of them are being destroyed and simply cannot afford to continue because of dwindling viewers. Now look at the trending section on Youtube. 3.3 Million views for YOUTUBERS REACT TO WALMART YODEL BOY in 2 days . Then go to steemit. Look at the trending section. Then look at @corbettreport. Look how much he is making. And he is a Rock-Star in the movement. Then ask your grandma and your neighbor about their opinions about Eva Bartlett. Then go to a Walmart parking lot, point at the sky and say "Chemtrails". But again, I don't want to convince you of anything. If you are hopeful, that's great. And it ain't over until the fat lady sings...
Corbett had his own web site long before Steemit. He has Youtube too, probably others. I found him and Eva Bartlett without the assistance of anyone else. If I am doing it, I'm not the only one. Have you noticed governments now targeting Facebook, Amazon, Twitter and Youtube especially because they have been shadow banning conservative opinions? You notice 'shadow banning' in both our vocabularies? That's the first step. It gets revealed before it gets fixed.
I want to avoid falling into the trap where each one of us tries to prove his point.
We both will probably not succeed in doing that.
